Going to Las Vegas for the first time in almost 10 years was quite a trip. It's crazy to see a town that is purely man made with so much going on. Crazy buildings, views, cars, and money. My purpose for going was to attend the Magic trade show. My first few minutes of being there I bumped into Kimbo Slice, Beanie Segal, and the Mos Def. Amongst the stars, and wealth, there were a few pretty cool brands too.
I had the chance to roll down to LA for a couple days. The Hundreds homies Scotty and David showed us how the get down with Mexican food, and then took us over th the Berrics. Brandon and Mike ripped it while I stared in jealousy. The next day was the Gonz art show at the Alva store as well as the HUF LA opening party.
If you have been in the Bay Area within the last few days, you have probably noticed some amazing weather. I went over to Treasure Island last Friday and took some snaps of one of the most beautiful cities in the world while enjoying the proper temperature.
I was at Philz coffee yesterday and saw these people putting up this anti-Western Union banner. They said something about how Western Union rips poor families off that are dependent on their services.. so I say screw Western Union!
Sorry there are no pics of the killer slopes, I was too busy getting vertical, and didn't have the chance to snap any pics out there. These are some shots that I was able to take during downtime.. was a great time, and the snow was out of control!
The road our cabin was on. The ride up to Kirkwood. Sketchy conditions! Safeway parking lot. Our cabin.
December 29th is the birthday of my favorite girl, Megan... From the Mariachi to the random guy that decided to make a barf scene, let's just say it was an "interesting" evening.
